The successful applicant will report to the Public Works Foreman and will be responsible for operating equipment and general responsibilities as listed below.  Physical strength and ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor in all types of weather is required.

The successful applicant preferably will possess the following:

  • Ability to operate all equipment vehicles necessary to perform routine assignments proficiently. Equipment vehicles include but are not limited to trucks, RTV, tractor, lawn mower.
  • Must have knowledge of work hazards and safety procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Experience and additional certificates or designations will be considered an asset.

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible.

The successful candidate must have a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s License.  Upon employment, will also provide a completed Criminal Record Check.
