Pembina Valley Twisters

The Pembina Valley Twisters are a competitive junior ice hockey team playing in the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League (MMJHL). They proudly call the Morris MultiPlex home, where passionate hockey meets community spirit. 

Team Overview

  • Founded: 2001

  • Home Arena: Morris MultiPlex (380 Stampede Grounds, Morris, MB) 

  • Team Colours: Maroon, Black, and White 

  • Championships:

    • Jack McKenzie Trophy (Playoff Champions): 2007–08, 2012–13, 2018–19

    • Art Moug Trophy (Regular Season): 2009–10, 2018–19 

History Highlights

  • The team originated in 2001 thanks to Glenn Cordy and Kerry Lines, aiming to keep local talent playing after high school. 

  • After a few seasons in Oak Bluff, the team relocated to Morris and has been integral to the local sports community since.

As a member of the Manitoba Major Junior Hockey League, the Twisters compete against teams across southern Manitoba in Canada’s top regional junior circuit.
