The Town of Morris Municipal Election will be held on Wednesday, October 28, 2026.

This page will be updated throughout the election period with information for voters and candidates, including registered prospective candidates, official candidates, voting locations, advance voting, sealed envelope voting and election results.

Important Dates

Registered Prospective Candidates

Registration does not mean that a person is officially a candidate. A registered prospective candidate becomes an official candidate only after filing nomination papers during the nomination period and having those papers accepted by the Senior Election Official.

If the number of nominated candidates is equal to or fewer than the available positions, the Senior Election Official declares the applicable candidates elected by acclamation. If there are more candidates than positions available, an election is called.

Advance Voting

Sealed Envelope Voting (Mail-In Voting)

If you expect that you will be unable to vote in person on Election Day or during advance voting, you may be eligible to vote by sealed envelope.

How to Apply

By Mail or Email

Applications may be made beginning 90 days before Election Day and must be received no later than 3 days before Election Day.

The application must include the voter's:

• name, address and telephone number;
• declaration of eligibility; and
• legible copies of the required identification.

In Person

Applications may be made beginning 28 days before Election Day and no later than 3 days before Election Day.

Mobile Voting

Mobile voting will be provided for eligible voters residing or receiving care at designated health-care facilities in the Town of Morris. Details will be provided directly to the applicable facilities and posted here as required.
