Seasonal Operations
Winter
Plowing begins after measurable accumulation, starting with emergency routes, school/bus routes, and major connectors. Residential streets and lanes follow as conditions allow.
- Park off‑street during plow operations when possible.
- Keep waste/recycling carts off the street on plow days.
- Do not push snow onto streets or sidewalks (by‑law enforced).
Spring
Street sweeping removes winter sand; crews also check culverts and ditches for blockages.
Summer
Asphalt patching, gravel top‑ups, and line painting occur through the construction season.
Fall
Catch basin and ditch inspections; equipment prep for winter operations.
Water Quality & Utilities
If you notice discoloured water, low pressure, or a suspected leak, please contact Public Works. For billing questions (accounts, due dates, online payment), contact the Town Office or see the Utilities section of the website.
