Mission Statement:

Morris School strives to provide an extensive range of programs and opportunities to promote student development and success. Students have an array of academic, vocational, arts, athletic, and extra-curricular programs to choose from so that each student can pursue personal areas of interest. The school prides itself on its creative, innovative, and enthusiastic approach to teaching and learning.

Our vision is that the students of Morris School will be empowered to create a positive future for themselves through self-esteem, love of learning, and mutual respect for others. 

About Our School:

• Located centrally in Morris, serving ~480 students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 from the communities of Morris, Lowe Farm, St. Jean, Ste. Agathe, St. Pierre, St. Malo, Dufrost, Ste. Elizabeth, and Aubigny

• Academic structure includes separate wings for early years, middle years, and senior students, enabling collaborative planning and shared events. 

• Strong programs in:

  • Music, Physical Education, Languages, Resource, Technology, Autobody, and Counselling. 

• Well‑equipped facilities:

  • Two computer labs, computers in every classroom, integrated technology, and curriculum supports like Differentiated Instruction and Reading Recovery.

  • Library usage integrated into classroom learning; Life Skills room for special needs students; and support services including Psychologist, Social Worker, Speech & Language Clinician, Physiotherapist, and Occupational Therapist by referral. 

Red River Technical Vocational Area (RRTVA)

• This consortium of school divisions across south‑eastern and south‑central Manitoba provides access to high‑quality technology education programs for area high school students.
