Arien Peterson, to assume role of Town CAO in January 2026
The Mayor and Council of the Town of Morris are pleased to announce that Arien Peterson, CMMA will be assuming the role of Chief Administrative Officer in January 2026. This appointment was necessitated by the pending retirement of long-serving CAO, Brigitte Doerksen, CMMA.
Ms. Peterson has been an employee of the Town for the past six years, and has developed extensive experience working with all departments, including direct oversight of recreation and Town Facilities. During this time, she also achieved her Certified Manitoba Municipal Administrator (CMMA) accreditation.
For those who interact with the Town regularly, this transition is expected to be seamless. Ms. Peterson has begun performing several CAP functions already and is being fully briefed on all ongoing CAO activities by Ms. Doerksen.
